Customers are required to be at the Kawhia Wharf 20 minutes prior to departure, the boats will depart at their set time regardless of customers being late so please ensure you contact us.

 

When using Google Maps please search Kawhia & not Kawhia Harbour as this will take you the wrong way. There is limited parking available, all parking is available behind the Kawhia Hall or up Tainui St outside the Police station. Please no Parking in front of the medical centre.

 

Dove Charters prides itself on keeping our customers safe so please help us by listening to some basic instructions given by the skippers.

 

The Skipper has the right to cut a trip short & make a decision to return to the harbour at any time due to conditions that are unsafe or unsuitable, or if customers fail to follow basic instructions & abide by our health and safety rules.

Please make sure you choose your date carefully before making a booking, We ensure that our website is updated regularly but there may be occasions when the date requested is unavailable but not showing on our site. We may also request a deposit be paid; all deposits will be refunded at our discretion if we make the choice to cancel the trip.

 

Dove Charters has the right to cancel any trips due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. An opportunity will be made to rebook on the next available date or customer choice.

 

When booking please ensure that the number of spaces booked will be paid for irrespective if anyone drops out or does not turn up. So please be sure of the spaces you need before you make a booking as we turn down all other potential customers.
